Summary
When Focal launched its photography website builder, one of the biggest challenges was guiding new users through creating their custom photography site. By studying how photographers approached this process, we designed an end-to-end onboarding experience that feels intuitive and tailored to newcomers. As a result, support requests during onboarding dropped by >25%, while click-through rates across the flow significantly increased.
